About Us

Hello. This is WorstGuidesEver: a site that publishes guides nobody asked for, on topics that barely matter, with a level of confidence entirely unjustified by the results. You’re welcome.

The Premise

Someone had to make the worst guides on the internet. It turned out to be us. We don’t know how it happened either. Each guide is thoroughly researched in the sense that we googled it once, formed a strong opinion, and kept going. We cover things you could figure out yourself in five minutes, but won’t, because reading a bad guide about it is more satisfying.

Our Specialties

  • Guides that answer the wrong question with complete confidence
  • Step-by-step instructions where step 3 is “figure it out”
  • Hot takes disguised as tutorials
  • Beginner content that assumes you already know everything
  • Expert content that assumes you know nothing and resents you for it

Contact

We read every email. Response time varies between
“immediately” and “technically never.” It depends on the email.
