Three new characters. Two reruns. One patch where Snezhnaya is already casting a shadow over every pull decision. Plan accordingly.

NICOLE REEYN

Nicole 5-Star Pyro Catalyst Support

The first playable Hexenzirkel member. She shields the party, buffs everyone’s ATK simultaneously, and unlike Bennett, she does not demand that your entire team stand in a circle like obedient livestock. Nicole Genshin Impact build priority is simple: stack ATK to 4,000, level the Skill, ignore Crit entirely.

How The Kit Works

  • Elemental Skill: Creates a Pyro shield and grants Grace of Kenosis: a team-wide ATK buff based on Nicole’s own ATK. No area restriction. No timer requiring you to babysit a circle.
  • Passive A1: After using her Skill, the active character gets an extra ATK bonus after 3 seconds. Hexerite characters (Varka, Razor) get it immediately on swap.
  • Elemental Burst: Summons Arcane Projections that deal coordinated Pyro hits scaled off the active character’s stats. Less impactful than the Skill; upgrade second.
  • New Artifact Set (Celestial Gift): Gives up to 40% Elemental DMG Bonus for both the wearer’s and the active character’s element. In a Varka team: 40% Pyro + 40% Anemo simultaneously.

Verdict: A second Bennett who freed himself from the circle. Great for any ATK-scaling carry, exceptional for Hexerite characters. Pull if you run Varka, want a non-energy-reliant buffer, or just want comfort in Stygian Nymph.

Best Teams

  • Full Hexerei: Varka / Prune / Durin / Nicole: the premium team, every buff stacking on top of the last
  • Lohen Core: Lohen / Durin / Nicole / flex: Nicole shields Lohen, Durin melts in dark mode
  • Burgeon: Kinich / Emilie / Durin / Nicole: high damage, straightforward rotation
  • Budget: Any ATK-scaling DPS + Nicole + Fischl + Prune: viable without a five-star sub-DPS

LOHEN

Lohen 5-Star Cryo Polearm Main DPS

Confirmed not a standard banner character, despite what the rumor mill insisted for three weeks. He is a limited five-star Cryo on-field carry. His Lohen Genshin Impact best team is basically written into his own kit: he functions best when his teammates are doing the heavy lifting for him.

The Joy / Will to Win System

Lohen enters a special mode with his Elemental Skill and accumulates Joy points via normal attacks. Joy unlocks a special skill cast. Meanwhile, his party members’ off-field damage generates Will to Win points, which amplify that special skill’s damage. Three special casts per rotation is the cap.

Translation: you need strong off-fielders. Dark mode Durin is currently his best partner because Durin’s burst hits are designed for Melt, and Lohen applies Cryo consistently enough to trigger it. Nicole rounds out the core as the universal ATK buffer and shield provider.

Verdict: Solid damage ceiling: but only with the right team around him. If you don’t have Durin and Nicole, Lohen underperforms. Genshin Impact 6.6 banner priority: pull him in Phase 2 only if you already own at least one of his core supports.

Talent Priority

  1. Elemental Skill (the entire mechanic lives here)
  2. Normal Attack (feeds Joy point generation)
  3. Elemental Burst (uses Will to Win, strong but secondary)

PRUNE

Prune4-Star AnemoCatalyst Sub-DPS / Buffer

A self-proclaimed witch hunter who ironically carries the Hexerei tag. Prune Genshin best artifacts are straightforward: four-piece Viridescent Venerer for Swirl RES shred, stack ATK. Her Elemental Burst summons a Tracking Bell that auto-attacks and triggers Swirl follow-ups, giving her consistent off-field presence without asking you to do anything complicated.

Why She Matters for F2P

Her team-wide DMG buff caps at 35% (requires roughly 4,000 ATK after the beta adjustment) and she delivers real Swirl utility on top of it. She is not a Swirl bot with a buff slapped on: the ATK stat feeds both her personal damage and the buff she passes to teammates. At C6, she also gives 350 flat ATK to buffed characters, which is a meaningful upgrade. C0 is already functional.

She debuts on both Phase 1 banners (Nicole and Durin). If you need copies for constellations, this is your only guaranteed window.

F2P Verdict: One of the better 4-stars in this patch cycle. C0 is enough to be useful. Prioritize her over pulling Lohen’s banner if you have no premium Cryo DPS to support him.

RERUNS: DURIN & MAVUIKA

Durin: First Rerun

Versatile Pyro sub-DPS with two modes. Light mode: heavy Pyro application and up to 35% RES shred for Pyro, Anemo, Geo, Electro, and Dendro when paired with Witch artifacts. Dark mode: fewer, harder burst hits meant to Vaporize or Melt: and with Lohen now in the game, dark mode finally has a consistent premium partner.

He generates energy efficiently, tolerates Stygian Nymph better than most burst-reliant units, and slots into overload, mono-Pyro, burning, or burgeon. Should you pull Durin rerun? Yes, if you lack a Pyro sub-DPS entirely. No, if you already have Xiangling at high investment and want to save for Snezhnaya.

Mavuika: Pyro Archon Rerun

Still one of the only characters who can brute-force shield enemies in Abyss stage 8. Still among the top five DPS in the game when supported correctly. Her best combos involve animation cancels that are unpleasant on mobile and require either Sitlali or C6 Yanshan to reach peak numbers: neither of which is free. Mavuika F2P pull guide answer: she is the right choice for returning players who have nothing and want a reliable DPS right now. For newer accounts, she is likely the only banner worth touching this patch. But Snezhnaya meta will arrive, and it will not wait for your comfort zone.

F2P PULL PRIORITY

Three account profiles. No fluff. Genshin Impact F2P Primogem priority depends entirely on what you already own.

ACCOUNT SCENARIOS

SCENARIO 01

You Have Varka

Nicole first. She enables Serpent Spine if you have the Battle Pass weapon and runs the new Celestial Gift set for 40% dual-element DMG. If you hit her early, chase Durin for the full Hexerei core. Prune from Phase 1 rate-up at no extra cost. Lohen is fourth: he does not directly upgrade Varka, and Mawuika does nothing for the Grandmaster.

SCENARIO 02

Returning Player

Mavuika or skip the patch entirely. Nicole and Durin are good but leave you without a proper DPS. Varka needs his signature weapon to justify the team investment. The second new artifact set hints at an upcoming archetype change: Genshin Impact version 6.7 meta (Sandrone is all but confirmed) may shift priorities hard. Saving your Primogems is not cowardice; it is basic resource management.

SCENARIO 03

New Player

Mavuika. Full stop. She works in early game, covers exploration, and functions without a built team around her. Durin slots in second because he pairs with free four-stars like Fischl, Sucrose, and Prune. Nicole is more niche at this stage. Lohen without Durin and Nicole is a damage floor disappointment: do not set yourself up for that.

NEW ARTIFACT SETS: QUICK NOTE

Two new sets drop in 6.6. The Celestial Gift (Hexerei set) functions similarly to Cinder City: up to 40% Elemental DMG Bonus for the wearer’s element and the active character’s element simultaneously. Strong on Nicole, Fischl, Mona, and Durin. The second set buffs Superconduct reactions, which is a quiet signal that something Cryo-relevant is coming in a future patch. Genshin Impact Hexerei team composition players should farm Celestial Gift immediately.

Is Nicole better than Bennett for F2P teams?

For off-fielders and mobile players, yes. No circle requirement, shields included, energy-independent. Bennett still hits harder raw.

Can Lohen work without Durin and Nicole?

He works, but significantly underperforms. His Will to Win mechanic demands strong sub-DPS output. Budget alternatives cut his ceiling hard.

Is Prune worth pulling constellations on?

C2 is the real power spike: strong ATK boost mid-rotation. C6 adds 350 flat ATK teamwide. C0 is already usable for F2P.

Should I pull Mavuika in 2026 if I’m a newer player?

Only if you have Sitlali or C6 Yanshan. Without her best supports, Luna carries feel significantly better at F2P investment.

Is it worth saving Primogems for Snezhnaya instead of pulling in 6.6?

For returning and new players without strong carries: yes. Snezhnaya’s meta will likely invalidate half this patch’s value quickly.
