Orgrimmar Reputation in World of Warcraft Forever: The Exalted Grind, Start to Finish

There is no mob grind. World of Warcraft Forever Orgrimmar reputation comes from quests and from handing cloth to a vendor, and that is the entire system. You need 42,000 reputation to walk from Neutral to Exalted with Orgrimmar. Quests in Durotar and Orgrimmar cover the cheap early half, and Rashona Straglash in The Drag eats the rest in twenty-stack increments until you stop caring. Exalted buys wolves for anyone who is not an orc.

The number that matters: the repeatable Additional Runecloth turn-in pays 50 reputation for 20 Runecloth. Revered to Exalted alone is 21,000 reputation, which is 420 turn-ins and 8,400 Runecloth. Plan your farming around that sentence or do not start.

Reputation thresholds you are actually fighting

WoW Forever Orgrimmar rep uses the standard bar, which is front-loaded to feel generous and back-loaded to punish you. The first three standings are a rounding error. The last one is the guide.

StandingPoints in this tierCumulative from Neutral
Friendly6,0009,000
Honored12,00021,000
Revered21,00042,000
ExaltedTerminal42,000

Unlocking the faction and quartermaster coordinates

There is no unlock quest and no introduction chain. The bar starts moving on your first Durotar turn-in, whether you wanted it to or not. The WoW Forever Orgrimmar quartermaster role is split across three orcs who each pretend the other two do not exist.

  • Rashona Straglash stands in Magar’s Cloth Goods in The Drag and runs every cloth donation quest for the city.
  • Ogunaro Wolfrunner sells the wolves by the pens in the Valley of Honor at 69.4, 12.2 and will not speak to you until Exalted.
  • Kildar teaches Wolf Riding a few steps away at 69.4, 13.1, and is the actual gate for non-orcs.
  • Vehena in the Valley of Spirits handles Darkspear Trolls cloth and is a separate bar, not a shortcut.

Fastest route to Exalted

The route to World of Warcraft Forever exalted Orgrimmar is boring on purpose. Quests carry you into Honored for free while levelling, then the cloth queue does the remaining thirty thousand points in silence.

  1. Clear every Durotar and Orgrimmar quest before leaving for the Barrens, because almost all of them are flagged for the city.
  2. Run the Hidden Enemies chain from Thrall, starting at Hidden Enemies for 100 reputation and ending at Hidden Enemies for another 150 and a weapon.
  3. Donate Wool Cloth at level 12, then Silk Cloth at 26, then Mageweave Cloth at 40, in that order, because each one unlocks the next.
  4. Hand in the one-time A Donation of Runecloth at level 50 to open the repeatable version.
  5. Farm Runecloth in bulk and turn in twenty at a time until the bar dies.

Turn-in items, rep tokens and exact values

There are no tokens, no insignias, no scourgestones, no shortcut currency. The World of Warcraft Forever runecloth turn-in is the only repeatable source in the game for this faction, and the one-time donations pay 150 each, which is four quests for 600 points total.

QuestCostMin levelReputationRepeatable
A Donation of Wool60 Wool Cloth12150No
A Donation of Silk60 Silk Cloth26150No
A Donation of Mageweave60 Mageweave Cloth40150No
A Donation of Runecloth60 Runecloth50150No
Additional Runecloth20 Runecloth5050Yes

The four donation quests gate each other in sequence. If you skip Wool at low level, the Silk quest does not appear, the Mageweave quest does not appear, and at 50 you will be farming 60 Wool Cloth in a Runecloth zone like a tourist. Do them in order or pay the tax.

Where to farm the cloth

Every point past Honored is a humanoid pull. Farm where the density is high and the corpses are close together, and never sell a stack before the bar is finished.

ClothWhere it drops in volumeNotes
Wool ClothLow humanoid camps and the early wings of Scarlet MonasteryCheap on the auction house, buy it instead
Silk ClothScarlet Monastery Library and Armory pullsDrops alongside gear you will vendor anyway
Mageweave ClothPirate and humanoid camps in TanarisThe worst of the four to farm, buy it
RuneclothEastern Plaguelands, Stratholme, Dire Maul, WinterspringThis is the whole grind, treat it as a job

Ragefire Chasm and the mob grind that is not there

Every new player asks about WoW Forever Ragefire Chasm as a reputation farm. The dungeon sits in the Cleft of Shadow next to Neeru Fireblade, it is the friendliest instance in the game, and its trash pays nothing toward the city bar. What Ragefire Chasm gives you is quest reputation, once, on a character that is level 15 and will not see Exalted for another forty levels.

Run it for the Hidden Enemies chain, specifically the Neeru handoff and the Searing Blade kill order, then leave. Oggleflint, Taragaman the Hungerer, Jergosh the Invoker and Bazzalan are a checklist, not a farm.

Rewards by standing

Orgrimmar is a city faction, which means the reward table is insultingly short. There is no quartermaster stocking gear, no recipes and no tabard to equip in dungeons.

StandingWhat you get
FriendlyNothing. The guards stop implying you smell.
HonoredA 10 percent discount on Orgrimmar vendor prices, including mounts and riding training.
ReveredNothing. This tier exists to consume 12,000 points.
ExaltedWolf Riding training for non-orcs and full access to Ogunaro’s stock.

BiS rewards and which class wants them

The best in slot item from this faction is a horn. Every World of Warcraft Forever wolf mount here is cosmetic, identical in speed to its ram and raptor counterparts, and wanted by exactly one group: non-orcs who refuse to be seen on a kodo.

MountSpeedWho actually buys it
Horn of the Timber Wolf60 percentTrolls and Forsaken at 40 who want the orc silhouette
Horn of the Dire Wolf60 percentTauren, the only other race allowed on wolves by default
Horn of the Brown Wolf60 percentCollectors filling the stable
Horn of the Swift Timber Wolf100 percentWarriors and hunters who finished the grind at 60
Horn of the Swift Gray Wolf100 percentThe default pick, dark coat hides the saddle
Horn of the Swift Brown Wolf100 percentAnyone who bought the others already

The Hidden Enemies chain also hands out a Kris, Hammer, Axe or Staff of Orgrimmar. They are level 16 quest greens with the city’s name stamped on them, they are not reputation rewards, and no class wants them past the Barrens.

What the reputation actually gates

The list of WoW Forever Orgrimmar rewards that matter is short and entirely about transport. No attunement, no raid key, no recipe and no profession specialisation runs through this bar.

What Forever changes about the grind

Blizzard announced Forever at BlizzCon on 12 September 2026 with a 4 November launch, over a thousand new quests spread across the whole 1 to 60 bracket, three new zones and a set of new reputations carrying new items and account-wide perks. For this faction that means one practical thing: more quest-flagged reputation on the way up, so the cloth phase starts later and shorter than it did in 2019.

What has not been announced is a city tabard, a mob-kill source or a catch-up currency. Until one appears, assume the Classic skeleton stands: quests, then cloth, then a wolf.

Lore, briefly

Orgrimmar is named for Orgrim Doomhammer and was carved into Durotar as proof that the orcs were finished wandering. That is why World of Warcraft Forever Horde reputation with the city is measured in donated cloth rather than heroics: you are supplying a war capital that is still being built.

The rot is directly underneath it. Neeru Fireblade runs the Burning Blade from a tent in the Cleft of Shadow while the Searing Blade cult holds the tunnels below, and Thrall knows, and lets him live because a known traitor is a useful one. Forever is set shortly after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, so the city you are grinding for has not yet won anything.

Mistakes that cost weeks

Most of the pain in any WoW Forever reputation guide is self-inflicted. These five are the ones that actually cost calendar time.

  • Vendoring or auctioning cloth while levelling, then buying it back at 60 for ten times the price.
  • Skipping the Wool and Silk donations because 150 reputation looked worthless at the time.
  • Buying the epic mount at Friendly and losing the Honored discount for no reason.
  • Grinding Darkspear Trolls reputation expecting it to carry the Orgrimmar bar, which it does not.
  • Turning in Runecloth one stack at a time between raid pulls instead of batching a hundred stacks in one visit.

How long does Exalted with Orgrimmar take?

Roughly a week of focused Runecloth farming at 60, or zero extra effort if you quested Durotar thoroughly on the way up.

Do Ragefire Chasm mobs give Orgrimmar reputation?

No. The dungeon pays quest reputation once through the Hidden Enemies chain, and its trash gives nothing toward the city bar.

How much Runecloth does Revered to Exalted cost?

Around 8,400 Runecloth, which is 420 repeatable turn-ins of twenty at fifty reputation each. Batch them in one trip.

Do orcs need Orgrimmar reputation for wolves?

No. Orcs train Wolf Riding and buy from Ogunaro at any standing. Every other Horde race needs Exalted first.

Is there a tabard or gear reward for this faction?

No. The faction gates riding training, the wolf mounts and a ten percent vendor discount at Honored, and nothing else.
