Resto Druid 12.1.5 Guide: Wildstalker, Keeper, Tier 36 and BiS
Patch 12.1.5, The Promise of Tomorrow, goes live on October 13, 2026 and touches exactly one Restoration line: Nature’s Bounty now makes Regrowth heal up to 3 allies with your Rejuvenation for 15 percent of its healing, lowest health first. Everything else carries over from 12.1. Play Wildstalker in raid, Mythic+ and arena, stack Haste and Mastery, catalyze into the 4-piece Bark of the Enigmatic Dreamwatcher, and pour your first 10 Ascendant Venomstones into a Myth 6/6 weapon the week of October 20.
This resto druid 12.1.5 guide is built for the mid-season player: the single-boss Unbinding of Kith’ix raid, the nine-chamber Labyrinth of Kindo’jan, hourly Aqir Invasions in Eversong Woods and Zul’Aman, and a Season 2 keystone that still wants you dead. Talents, tier and the Mythic+ pool are unchanged from 12.1 unless stated.
What Patch 12.1.5 Changes for Restoration Druid
Blizzard called the old Nature’s Bounty rotational friction. Translation: nobody enjoyed chaining Regrowth onto people who already had Regrowth.
| System | 12.1 | 12.1.5 |
|---|---|---|
| Nature’s Bounty | Regrowth heals all other allies with Regrowth for 10 percent | Regrowth heals up to 3 allies with Rejuvenation for 15 percent, lowest health first |
| Ascendant Venomstones | Not available | Unlocked week of October 20, raise item level of weapon, trinket or necklace |
| Nebulous Voidcore | Great Vault and weekly sources | One extra per week from Orin Straylight, starting week of October 6 |
| Crest cap | Weekly cap | Lifted week of October 20 |
| New raid | None | Kith’ix, single boss, Story to Mythic, Mythic flexes 15 to 25 players |
| Mythic+ title | None | 3600 rating awards the Venomous Contender title |
The redesign welds Nature’s Bounty to Abundance. You already keep 5 Rejuvenations rolling for the 60 percent cheaper, 60 percent more critical Regrowth; now those same targets eat the cleave. For restoration druid Midnight Season 2 players this is a quiet buff to a B-tier spec, not a rework.
Hero Talents: Wildstalker vs Keeper of the Grove
Pick before you read further, because every section below splits by tree.
| Tree | What it does | Raid | Mythic+ | PvP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wildstalker | Symbiotic Blooms grow on Wild Growth, Regrowth and Efflorescence targets; blooming targets take more healing; Cat Form hits harder | Best | Best, 49 of the top 50 keys | Main pick, 35 of the top 50 3v3 players |
| Keeper of the Grove | Grove Guardians buff your healing, Dryads cast a 10 percent Tranquility, Swiftmend and Wild Growth cool down faster | Playable, behind | Viable, less damage | Niche, 15 of the top 50 |
Wildstalker
Thriving Growth lets Wild Growth, Regrowth and Efflorescence seed Symbiotic Blooms. Vigorous Creepers makes bloomed targets take 20 percent more healing, Root Network adds 2 percent healing per active Bloom, and Implant forces a Bloom on every Swiftmend and Wild Growth target. Recast Rejuvenation on a Bloom target and Bursting Growth heals that ally plus 3 more. A resto druid Wildstalker build wins raids because it stacks those modifiers on the Lifebloom target that Everbloom already blooms on every Swiftmend.
Keeper of the Grove
Harmony of the Grove gives 5 percent healing per active Grove Guardian, Dream Surge grows healing petals whenever a treant spawns, and Sylvan Beckoning occasionally empowers Swiftmend to summon a Dryad casting Tranquility at 10 percent effectiveness. Early Spring and Dryad’s Dance shave cooldowns. A Keeper of the Grove resto druid suffers because treants spawn from Wild Growth, the most expensive button in the kit, so the tree taxes mana for every percent it gives.
Wildstalker Talents: Raid, Mythic+, PvP
Wildstalker Raid Build
Note the absence of Grove Guardians. Wildstalker raid does not want treants; it wants every point in Lifebloom, Swiftmend and Rejuvenation scaling.
Wildstalker Mythic+ Build
The resto druid mythic plus build keeps the hero tree identical and rewires the rest for crowd control and damage.
| Tree | Change from raid |
|---|---|
| Class | Add Grievous Wounds, Swipe, Typhoon, Mighty Bash, Circle of the Heavens, Fluid Form; drop Killer Instinct, Astral Influence, Starlight Conduit, Perfectly-Honed Instincts, Improved Stampeding Roar, Innervate |
| Spec | Add Grove Guardians, Improved Ironbark, Wild Synthesis, Regenerative Heartwood, Verdancy; drop Flourish, Improved Wild Growth, Unstoppable Growth, Reforestation |
| Apex and Hero | Everbloom 4/4 and the full Wildstalker tree, unchanged |
Wildstalker PvP Build
Start from the Mythic+ shell, since it already carries Cyclone, Mighty Bash, Typhoon and Improved Ironbark. Top 3v3 Wildstalkers run these PvP talents:
- Early Spring makes Wild Growth instant and is taken by 49 of the top 50 players.
- Forest Guardian extends your HoTs whenever you cast Wrath, Cyclone or a combo point builder, which turns cat pressure into healing.
- High Winds adds 5 yards to Cyclone, Typhoon and Entangling Roots, and fills the third slot about half the time.
- Disentanglement lets Efflorescence strip snares and is the answer to melee cleaves and Frost Mages.
- Call of Ohn’ahra makes Cyclone instant with Nature’s Swiftness at the cost of 60 extra seconds on its cooldown.
- Thorns punishes double melee when cast with Barkskin or Ironbark.
Wildstalker Swaps
- Take Incarnation: Tree of Life over Convoke the Spirits on movement-heavy fights, because instant Regrowth keeps you healing while running.
- Take Liveliness over Master Shapeshifter for roughly 3 percent healing if your mana survives the whole pull.
- Take Embrace of the Dream over Master Shapeshifter when the fight is short and spiky.
- Drop Innervate in Mythic+ only if the group never needs it, because it now restores 20 percent of a healer’s mana over 8 seconds and nothing else.
Keeper of the Grove Talents: Raid, Mythic+, PvP
Keeper of the Grove Raid Build
Keeper needs Grove Guardians to function, so it buys them with Unstoppable Growth and adds Improved Swiftmend because every treant starts with a Swiftmend or Wild Growth press.
Keeper of the Grove Mythic+ Build
| Tree | Change from raid |
|---|---|
| Class | Add Grievous Wounds, Swipe, Typhoon, Mighty Bash, Circle of the Heavens, Fluid Form; drop Killer Instinct, Astral Influence, Starlight Conduit, Perfectly-Honed Instincts, Improved Stampeding Roar, Innervate |
| Spec | Add Improved Ironbark, Wild Synthesis, Regenerative Heartwood, Verdancy; drop Flourish, Improved Wild Growth, Improved Swiftmend, Reforestation |
| Apex and Hero | Everbloom 4/4 and the full Keeper tree, unchanged |
Keeper of the Grove PvP Build
Start from the Mythic+ shell, since it already carries Cyclone, Mighty Bash, Typhoon and Improved Ironbark. Keeper takes the same resto druid PvP talents as Wildstalker:
- Early Spring makes Wild Growth instant, and every instant Wild Growth also spawns a treant for Harmony of the Grove.
- Forest Guardian extends your HoTs whenever you cast Wrath, Cyclone or a combo point builder.
- High Winds adds 5 yards to Cyclone, Typhoon and Entangling Roots.
- Disentanglement lets Efflorescence strip snares against melee cleaves and Frost Mages.
- Call of Ohn’ahra makes Cyclone instant with Nature’s Swiftness at the cost of 60 extra seconds on its cooldown.
- Thorns punishes double melee when cast with Barkskin or Ironbark.
- Ancient of Lore replaces Incarnation: Tree of Life with a crowd control immune form, but 1 player in the top 50 bothers.
Keeper of the Grove Swaps
- Take Incarnation: Tree of Life over Convoke the Spirits on movement-heavy fights, because instant Regrowth keeps you healing while running.
- Take Liveliness over Master Shapeshifter for roughly 3 percent healing if your mana survives the whole pull.
- Take Embrace of the Dream over Master Shapeshifter when the fight is short and spiky.
- Take Power of the Dream over Control of the Dream when your cooldowns are pre-planned to the second and never sit unused.
Wildstalker Rotation and Priority
Opener
- Cast Symbiotic Relationship on the tank and Mark of the Wild on the group before the pull.
- Put Lifebloom on yourself in raid or on the tank in Mythic+, and let Lifetreading drag Efflorescence under it.
- Spread 5 Rejuvenation casts to switch on Abundance.
- Cast Wild Growth into the first damage so Implant and Thriving Growth seed Symbiotic Blooms early.
- Press Swiftmend on a Bloom target and spend Soul of the Forest on Rejuvenation to hit 3 allies.
Single Target
Keep Lifebloom at 100 percent uptime and refresh it in the last 4.5 seconds to keep the bloom. Press Swiftmend on cooldown for three instant Lifebloom blooms from Everbloom. Fill with Regrowth under Abundance, spending Omen of Clarity procs first since Flash of Clarity adds 40 percent to them. Emergency: Nature’s Swiftness into Regrowth, which also applies Lifebloom, Rejuvenation and Wild Growth HoTs through Overgrowth if you took it.
AoE
Rejuvenate Bloom targets first, because each recast triggers Bursting Growth. Press Wild Growth and Swiftmend as damage lands, then Regrowth for the 12.1.5 Nature’s Bounty cleave onto 3 Rejuvenated allies. In Mythic+, weave Moonfire, Sunfire and Cat Form through Rake, Shred, Rip and Ferocious Bite; Fluid Form shifts you automatically.
Cooldown Windows
- Convoke the Spirits runs on a 1 minute cooldown thanks to Cenarius’ Guidance, so use it every damage event and spend Soul of the Forest first because Convoke can overwrite it.
- Tranquility is a 3 minute channel that shields you for 60 percent of your health; ramp Regrowth first so Flourish extends them.
- Incarnation: Tree of Life comes free every 4 Swiftmend casts through Reforestation, so line the fourth one up with Convoke.
- Ironbark goes on the tank or the target of the next tank buster, not on the panicking Mage.
Never Clip
- Never let Lifebloom expire or move it, because every move resets its stacks.
- Never cancel Tranquility early, because Flourish extends your HoTs every second it channels.
- Never let Soul of the Forest expire or waste it on a lone player outside 20 yards of 2 allies.
What Wildstalker changes: Bloom targets become your Rejuvenation priority, and Strategic Infusion rewards opening Mythic+ trash with Rake from stealth. Careful, Rake stuns small mobs and scatters the pack.
Keeper of the Grove Rotation and Priority
- Open with Wild Growth and Swiftmend to spawn the first Grove Guardians and stack Harmony of the Grove.
- Spend Soul of the Forest on Rejuvenation to hit 3 allies.
Single Target
Keep Lifebloom at 100 percent uptime and refresh it in the last 4.5 seconds to keep the bloom. Press Swiftmend on cooldown for three instant blooms from Everbloom and a treant. Fill with Regrowth under Abundance, spending Omen of Clarity procs first since Flash of Clarity adds 40 percent to them. Spend the Sylvan Beckoning empowered Swiftmend quickly; its Dryad casts a 10 percent Tranquility that Flourish also extends.
AoE
Pre-HoT with Rejuvenation, then Wild Growth and Swiftmend as damage lands to keep 2 to 5 treants alive, then Regrowth for the Nature’s Bounty cleave onto 3 Rejuvenated allies. In Mythic+, Keeper can skip most cat weaving for slightly more healing and less damage; Moonfire and Sunfire still go out.
Cooldown Windows
- Convoke the Spirits casts Swiftmend and Wild Growth internally, so a good Convoke spawns up to 5 treants for 25 percent bonus healing every minute.
- Tranquility is a 3 minute channel that shields you for 60 percent of your health; ramp Regrowth first so Flourish extends them.
- Incarnation: Tree of Life loses 5 seconds of cooldown each time a treant fades through Cenarius’ Guidance, so Keeper players taking it see it roughly every 100 seconds.
- Ironbark also summons a healing Dryad through Spirit of the Thicket, so it is a heal as well as a defensive.
Never Clip
- Never let Lifebloom expire or move it, because every move resets its stacks.
- Never cancel Tranquility early, because Flourish extends your HoTs every second it channels.
- Never let Soul of the Forest expire or press Convoke the Spirits while it is up.
What Keeper changes: the loop becomes treant upkeep, so a dry Wild Growth cooldown costs you 5 percent healing per missing Guardian.
Stat Priority Per Hero Tree
The resto druid stat priority is identical for both trees in PvE. No hard caps exist, but secondaries flatten at high ratings, so never dump everything into one.
Wildstalker Stats
| Content | Priority | Top player average |
|---|---|---|
| Raid | Item level, Haste = Mastery, Crit, Versatility | No public average |
| Mythic+ | Item level, Haste, Mastery, Versatility, Crit | 32 percent Haste, 39 percent Mastery |
| PvP | Mastery, Versatility, Haste, Crit | 40 percent Mastery, 16 percent Versatility, 13 percent Haste |
Keeper of the Grove Stats
| Content | Priority | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Raid | Item level, Haste = Mastery, Crit, Versatility | Same as Wildstalker |
| Mythic+ | Item level, Haste, Mastery, Versatility, Crit | In high keys, trade some Mastery for Versatility to survive |
| PvP | Mastery, Versatility, Haste, Crit | Same as Wildstalker |
Tier 36 Set: Bonuses, Tokens, Fastest 4-Piece
The resto druid tier set is Bark of the Enigmatic Dreamwatcher. Both bonuses feed one buff, Genesis: all your HoTs heal 15 percent more, and applications overlap.
| Bonus | Effect |
|---|---|
| 2-piece | Rejuvenation has a 15 percent chance to grant Genesis for 8 seconds |
| 4-piece | Nature’s Swiftness, Tranquility and Incarnation: Tree of Life or Convoke the Spirits always grant Genesis, and its duration grows by 8 seconds |
Wildstalker and the Tier Set
Wildstalker spams Rejuvenation onto Bloom targets, so the 2-piece procs constantly and Symbiotic Blooms count as HoTs under Genesis. Line Convoke, Nature’s Swiftness and the Reforestation tree form up for stacked 16 second windows. Value: high, never break 4-piece for raw item level.
Keeper of the Grove and the Tier Set
Keeper casts fewer Rejuvenation per minute, so the 2-piece procs less, but the 4-piece lands on the same 1 minute Convoke the Spirits where 5 treants are already buffing you. Value: high, never break 4-piece for raw item level.
Token Drops in The Venomous Abyss
| Boss | Slot | Leather token |
|---|---|---|
| Entombed Sentinels | Hands | Venomcured Idol |
| The Lost Explorers | Shoulders | Venomcured Remnant |
| Vashnik the Malignant | Chest | Venomcured Icon |
| Sszorak | Legs | Venomcured Relic |
| The Twin Fangs | Helm | Venomcured Effigy |
| Ula’tek | Any | Slumbering Coil Curio, traded to Kirana in Silvermoon City |
Fastest route: clear bosses 2 to 6 of The Venomous Abyss for tokens, fill the raid Great Vault row with 6 kills, and catalyze Haste or Mastery pieces. Catalyzing now keeps secondary stats and special effects, so the BiS plan catalyzes Gaze of the Coiled Watcher, War Trial Vestments and Coiled Hex Legguards, then wears real Enigmatic Dreamwatcher’s Gauntlets. Shoulders stay crafted.
Ascendant Venomstones Per Hero Tree
The resto druid Ascendant Venomstones plan starts the week of October 20, after Orin Straylight finishes his research questline in Silvermoon City. Stones drop from Heroic and Mythic raid bosses, keystones +10 and above, Tier 11 Bountiful Delves and Nightmare Prey chests. Ten stones raise one fully upgraded Hero, Myth or max quality crafted weapon, trinket or necklace.
Do not feed stones to Mythic Jan’thrazet, the Soul Fang, Gaze of the Coiled Watcher or Aqirbane Reliquary. Mythic Coiled Altar and Ula’tek loot already sits at 344, the expected Venomstone ceiling, so you would be paying 10 stones for nothing. The crest cap also lifts the same week, so finish Myth 6/6 upgrades with Myth Mistcrest first or the stones have nothing legal to touch.
Wildstalker Venomstone Order
- Stone a Myth 6/6 weapon first, such as Staff of the Lightning Serpent or crafted Aln’hara Cane, because the weapon carries the most Intellect per item level.
- Stone Wavecaller’s Seastone second, because Wildstalker heals passively and the stacking Intellect never sleeps.
- Stone Amulet of the Twin Fangs third for pure Haste and Mastery.
Keeper of the Grove Venomstone Order
- Stone a Myth 6/6 weapon first, such as Staff of the Lightning Serpent or crafted Aln’hara Cane, because the weapon carries the most Intellect per item level.
- Stone Soulcoiler Ritual Vessel second, because Keeper lives in 1 minute Convoke windows and an on-use shield for 5 allies lines up with them.
- Stone Amulet of the Twin Fangs third for pure Haste and Mastery.
BiS Gear Per Hero Tree
Both trees share one list because the stats match. The resto druid BiS gear below covers raid and Mythic+ at once.
Wildstalker BiS
| Slot | Item | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Head | Gaze of the Coiled Watcher, catalyzed | Ula’tek |

| Chest | War Trial Vestments, catalyzed | Den of Nalorakk |
| Wrist | Silvermoon Agent’s Deflectors | Crafted, embellished |
| Hands | Enigmatic Dreamwatcher’s Gauntlets | Entombed Sentinels token |
| Waist | Sash of the Forlorn Vessel | The Coiled Altar |
| Legs | Coiled Hex Legguards, catalyzed | The Coiled Altar |

Wildstalker alt BiS if you are behind:
- Craft Aln’hara Cane with Darkmoon Sigil: Hunt instead of farming Heroic Jan’thrazet, the Soul Fang for three weeks.
- Run Aln’hara Lantern as the crafted off-hand, which 19 of the top 50 Mythic+ druids still wear.
- Use Gebbo’s Bottomless Bag, Lightspire Core or Unstable Felheart Crystal until the raid trinkets drop.
- Take Vestment of the Awakening from the first boss as a placeholder chest.
- Pull the Great Vault raid row first, since Heroic choices drop at Myth 1/6 item level 318.
Keeper of the Grove BiS
| Slot | Item | Source |
|---|---|---|

| Neck | Amulet of the Twin Fangs | The Twin Fangs |

| Main Hand | Jan’thrazet, the Soul Fang | Ula’tek |
| Off Hand | Spine of the Hissing Abyss | Entombed Sentinels |
| Two-Hand | Staff of the Lightning Serpent | Temple of Sethraliss |
Keeper of the Grove alt BiS if you are behind:
- Craft Aln’hara Cane with Darkmoon Sigil: Hunt instead of farming Heroic Jan’thrazet, the Soul Fang for three weeks.
- Use Stormbound Emblem of Dazar or Hex Lord’s Dooming Idol as on-demand Haste for Convoke windows until the raid trinkets drop.
- Use Gebbo’s Bottomless Bag or Lightspire Core as passive fillers.
- Take Vestment of the Awakening from the first boss as a placeholder chest.
- Pull the Great Vault raid row first, since Heroic choices drop at Myth 1/6 item level 318.
Kith’ix adds four cantrip armor pieces in tier slots, a healer trinket and a Haste and Mastery ring, dropping at 344 on Mythic. The cantrips catalyze into tier without losing their effect and grow stronger next to a Venomcursed piece such as Gaze of the Coiled Watcher. Hold one Catalyst charge until you see them.
Consumables, Enchants, Gems, Embellishments
Nothing differs between trees. PvE wants Leech and Haste, PvP swaps to speed and Mastery for both trees.

- Craft every piece with Thalassian Missive of the Feverflare for guaranteed Haste and Mastery, then raise item level with Spark of Tides.
Macros, Addons and Interface
WeakAuras is dead in Midnight. Blizzard’s Cooldown Manager replaces it and since 12.1 also tracks trinkets, potions and racials. Patch 12.1.5 adds animated dispel borders on raid frames, which a Nature’s Cure healer should switch on immediately.
| Macro | Text |
|---|---|

- DandersFrames or the default raid frames handle healing; DandersFrames is worth it for HoT tracking.
- Plater or Platynator handles nameplates for Mythic+ cat weaving.
- Method Raid Tools handles raid notes and cooldown assignments.
- OPie puts Ursol’s Vortex, Typhoon, Stampeding Roar and forms on one radial key.
- Wildstalker only: show Symbiotic Blooms on raid frames, because Bloom targets are your Rejuvenation priority.
- Keeper of the Grove only: track the empowered Swiftmend from Sylvan Beckoning in the Cooldown Manager so the Dryad never expires.
Healing Kith’ix and the Rest of 12.1.5
- Kith’ix fights with Lady Liadrin at your side, and Phase 2 at 25 percent is a burn race against Eightfold Eclipse, so save Tranquility and Convoke the Spirits for the Stygian Howl stun.
- Abyssal Grasp is a heal absorb that drags players into darkness, so dump Swiftmend and Regrowth into it instantly.
- Digestive Juices stacks fast on Normal and above, so keep Rejuvenation pre-spread on the raid.
- Light’s Embrace cuts Extinguish damage, so herd stragglers into it with Stampeding Roar.
- The Labyrinth of Kindo’jan pairs you with Valeera Sanguinar for nine chambers of Mythic gear, and Wowhead’s delve build runs Wildstalker.
- Aqir Invasions run 10 minutes every hour in Eversong Woods or Zul’Aman, and nobody waits for a druid stuck in flight form.
Where Resto Druid Sits in 12.1.5
Wowhead ranks the spec B in both raid and Mythic+. Raid groups bring you for Mark of the Wild; keys bring you for Poison and Curse dispels, Ursol’s Vortex, Typhoon and Incapacitating Roar. The 25 percent health increase of Season 2 made HoTs feel thin, and 12.1.5 only patches that with the Nature’s Bounty redesign.
| Tree | Raid | Mythic+ | PvP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wildstalker | B, the raid default | B, 49 of the top 50 keys from 3677 to 3910 rating | Strong, top 3v3 players reach 2864 |
| Keeper of the Grove | C, mana hungry | C, safe but low damage | B, 15 of the top 50, peak 2754 |
Worth maining in 12.1.5? Yes if you enjoy agency, mobility and dispels; no if you want a meter crown handed to you. Roll Night Elf for Shadowmeld, or Troll for Berserking on Horde, and accept that the spec rewards people who read past the first paragraph.
What changed for Resto Druid in patch 12.1.5?
Nature’s Bounty was redesigned: Regrowth now heals up to three Rejuvenated allies for 15 percent, lowest health first.
Which hero tree should Resto Druid play in 12.1.5?
Wildstalker for raid, Mythic+ and arena. Keeper of the Grove works but costs more mana and deals less damage.
When can I use Ascendant Venomstones?
From the week of October 20, after Orin Straylight’s questline. Ten stones upgrade one weapon, trinket or necklace.
Which boss drops the Resto Druid tier gloves?
Entombed Sentinels drops the leather hands token. Ula’tek drops a Curio exchangeable for any tier slot in Silvermoon City.
What is the best stat for Resto Druid in Season 2?
Item level first, then Haste and Mastery. Mythic+ prefers Haste slightly, PvP prefers Mastery and Versatility.
