How to unlock the faction and where the quartermaster is

There is no unlock quest and no quartermaster. The Bloodsail Buccaneers reputation WoW Forever players chase starts the second you tick At War on Booty Bay in the reputation panel. The closest thing to a vendor is Fleet Master Firallon, who gives both rewards from below decks on the Crimson Veil.

1. Open the reputation panel, select Booty Bay and tick At War.
2. Go to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale and kill Bruisers until you reach Neutral with the Bloodsail.
3. Talk to Firallon for Dressing the Part, which requires level 47 and Neutral standing.
4. Keep killing until you are Friendly with the Bloodsail and Hated with Booty Bay.
5. Pick up Avast Ye, Scallywag from “Pretty Boy” Duncan at level 55, then Avast Ye, Admiral! from Firallon.
6. Kill Revilgaz and Seahorn on the top floor of the Salty Sailor Tavern and return to Firallon for the hat.

The WoW Forever Fleet Master Firallon location fools people who circle the deck for ten minutes: he is inside the hull, not on it. Horde can fly into Booty Bay and land beside the tavern, while Alliance lands farther out and has to cut through the inn.

Fastest route to Friendly

The WoW Forever Booty Bay Bruisers farm is the whole grind. Bruisers are level 57, drop nothing, throw nets in melee and fire a gun with a knockback that launches you into the next pack. The safe spot is the grassy path left of the tunnel entrance, next to the Plate-n-Chain smithy.

• Keep the water behind you, because a gunshot then knocks you into the bay instead of into a wall.
• Walk into the smithy when patrols are dead, since shopkeepers call fresh Bruisers on sight.
• Every goblin NPC calls one Bruiser per enemy player, a second one after 30 seconds, then waits about 8 minutes.
• Groups should farm the lower docks, where more spawners see the whole party at once.
• Rogues can Pick Pocket Bruisers, which is the only loot this grind ever produces.
• Friends who heal you in combat eat the same Booty Bay penalty, so tell them before they volunteer.

A level 60 player hits Friendly in several hours. Faldir’s Cove in Arathi Highlands (26, 82) lets levels 35 to 46 kill Blackwater crew for a few points each, but respawns are slow and the payout dies after level 47.

Quests that wreck your starting reputation

Every Booty Bay quest done while leveling adds Bruisers to your bill. Skip these, and check any Steamwheedle quest for a Bloodsail penalty before turning it in.

• The Bloodsail Buccaneers from First Mate Crazz costs 375 Bloodsail reputation on turn-in.
• “Pretty Boy” Duncan for Catelyn the Blade costs 500, the price of 20 Bruisers.
• Land Ho! in Faldir’s Cove costs 125 for a conversation with a captain.
• Killing named Bloodsail NPCs such as Firallon or Duncan costs 125 per corpse.

Before the Admiral step, untick At War on the Bloodsail Buccaneers and leave Booty Bay at Hated. Avast Ye, Scallywag and Avast Ye, Admiral! both demand Friendly with the Bloodsail and Hated with Booty Bay at the same time, and one early cloth turn-in breaks both conditions.

Honored, Revered and Exalted

Bloodsail Exalted WoW Forever is technically possible and clinically concerning. Bruisers keep paying through Honored. After that only Jazzrik, a goblin blacksmithing vendor in Badlands, gives Bloodsail reputation: 5 per kill up to the end of Revered, with a respawn of roughly 5.5 to 8.5 minutes.

The only clever part: hold Dressing the Part (+10), Avast Ye, Scallywag (+25) and Avast Ye, Admiral! (+200) until Jazzrik stops paying, then turn in all three. That drops you into Exalted with nothing to spend it on.

The Bloodsail have no tokens, no cloth quests and no repeatable turn-ins. Every goblin turn-in works against you: +500 with its town, +250 with the other three and -500 Bloodsail. Each one opens only while its town is below Neutral.

From rock-bottom Hated, the cheapest order is Ratchet, Booty Bay, Gadgetzan, Everlook: 168 stacks of Linen with 336 vials, 84 stacks of Silk with 168 dye, 42 stacks of Mageweave with 84 flux and 22 stacks of Runecloth with 44 coal.
