WoW Forever Booty Bay Reputation Guide: Fastest Route to Exalted

WoW Forever Booty Bay reputation starts at Neutral, has no quartermaster and pays out exactly one real perk, a 10% discount at Honored. The fastest route is simple and miserable: Stranglethorn Vale quests first, Venture Co. goblins until the end of Honored, then Southsea pirate spillover and Dire Maul North repeatables until Exalted.

Neutral to Exalted costs 42,000 points. Venture Co. kills pay 5 each through Honored, Southsea Pirate kills pay 2.5 spillover all the way up, and grey mobs pay a fraction of either. Already Hated because you wanted a pirate hat? Traitor to the Bloodsail buys you back to Neutral at 500 points per 40 Silk Cloth and 4 Red Dye.

How to Unlock Booty Bay and Where the Quartermaster Is

Nothing unlocks Booty Bay. Every character arrives at Neutral, which already opens the bank, the neutral Auction House, the inn and the flight master. The real requirement is reaching the southern tip of Stranglethorn Vale alive: Horde usually take the boat from Ratchet in The Barrens, Alliance usually walk the jungle road south.

Anyone searching booty bay quartermaster WoW Forever is hunting a vendor Blizzard never hired. The faction has a ruler, quest givers and shops, but no reputation vendor with standing-locked stock. These are the NPCs that matter.

Booty Bay Reputation Math

Booty Bay is one of four towns under the World of Warcraft Forever Steamwheedle Cartel banner, alongside Everlook, Gadgetzan and Ratchet. Any gain with one town spills half its value to the other three. That is why a pirate in Tanaris keeps feeding Booty Bay long after Gadgetzan has stopped caring.

Mobs that turn grey lose value, dropping in steps to a floor of 20%. Humans earn 10% extra on every gain, which on this grind is the closest thing to a mount the faction offers.

Fastest Route to Exalted

The WoW Forever Booty Bay Exalted route has three phases. Only the first one is pleasant.

1. Finish every Booty Bay quest in Stranglethorn before starting any mob grind, because quest rewards shrink once quests go grey.
2. Kill Venture Co. goblins in Stranglethorn while they still give experience, because they pay 5 Booty Bay reputation until the end of Honored.
3. Move to Southsea Pirate packs at Lost Rigger Cove in Tanaris once Honored is capped, because their 2.5 spillover keeps counting to Exalted.
4. Fill the rest at level 60 with Dire Maul North runs for Free Knot! and The Gordok Ogre Suit.

WoW Forever Stranglethorn Vale quests are the cheap part of the bill. Crazz starts The Bloodsail Buccaneers and pays more for its follow-up report, while Fizzlebub hands out Singing Blue Shards and Venture Company Mining. Every one of them also costs Bloodsail standing, so pirate hat collectors should skip them.

WoW Forever reputation farming at Venture Co. camps means 4,200 kills from Neutral to the end of Honored, minus whatever quests covered. Do it during the 30s and 40s, while kills still give experience and full value, not at 60 when the goblins are grey and worthless.

Past Honored, each non-grey Southsea Pirate kill in Tanaris pays 2.5 Booty Bay spillover. Revered plus Exalted is roughly 22,000 points, so budget about 8,800 kills or accept that Dire Maul is your second home.

Forever runs the original 2004 Azeroth with a level 60 cap, so every number here comes from the Classic data it is built on. The beta opens September 17 and launch lands November 4, 2026, and Blizzard can retune kill caps or spillover before either date. Check your reputation tooltip after ten kills before committing to ten thousand.

Booty Bay has no reputation tokens. It has shopping lists. WoW Forever Dire Maul North holds two of the three Cartel-wide repeatables that leave your Bloodsail standing alone, and the third sits in Feralas.

From the bottom of Hated, the Traitor needs 84 turn-ins to reach Neutral, which is 3,360 Silk Cloth and 336 Red Dye. The other towns have matching redemption quests: Mending Old Wounds for Ratchet, War at Sea for Gadgetzan and Making Amends for Everlook in Winterspring. Each pays 500 to its own town and 250 to the rest, so doing them in sequence cuts the Silk bill.

Freeing Knot also leaves Knot Thimblejack’s Cache behind. It holds tailoring and leatherworking supplies, sometimes Ogre Tannin, and sometimes a recipe that outvalues the reputation.

When it comes to Booty Bay reputation rewards WoW Forever players expect a vendor tab. They get behavior changes and a coupon.

Going Pirate Instead

The WoW Forever Bloodsail Buccaneers path is the same grind run backwards. Killing Booty Bay Bruisers is the fastest Bloodsail source, and every kill also bleeds the whole Cartel, so all four goblin towns end up Hated.

Neutral with the pirates opens Dressing the Part for the full outfit. Friendly opens Avast Ye, Admiral! for the Bloodsail Admiral’s Hat. Fleet Master Firallon waits with the Bloodsail fleet to sign you up, and the Traitor waits outside town to sell you back.

Booty Bay Lore

Humans built Booty Bay, a troll uprising drove them out, and the goblins took the cove after the trolls. Baron Revilgaz of the Blackwater Raiders rules it from his balcony atop the Salty Sailor Tavern, with the tauren Fleet Master Seahorn as his most trusted advisor.

The Blackwater Raiders are allied with the Steamwheedle Cartel, which gets rich by selling to Horde and Alliance alike. Their enemy is the Bloodsail fleet of Plunder Isle, ruled by Duke Falrevere and commanded at sea by Firallon, which wants to cripple the port and take it.

Forever sets all of this in 25 ADP, before Molten Core, in its own continuity separate from modern World of Warcraft. The goblins still care about exactly one thing, and it is not you.
