• The WoW Forever Greater Stats formula is Formula: Enchant Chest – Greater Stats, a very rare drop from level 60 elites, world bosses and lockboxes, with Darkmaster Gandling in Scholomance listed as a source.
• Formula: Enchant Chest – Major Health is a limited stock item sold by Qia in Everlook, Winterspring, at /way 61, 37, for roughly 1 to 2 gold, and she restocks whenever she feels like it.
• Major Mana is listed as trainer taught in current Classic data, while older sources place its formula on Scarlet Enchanters in Tyr’s Hand, Eastern Plaguelands, so ask Annora first and farm second.
• Formula: Enchant Chest – Lesser Mana is Horde only, sold in limited supply by Kithas in Orgrimmar and Lilly in the Sepulcher, Silverpine Forest.
• Formula: Enchant Chest – Minor Mana is sold by enchanting supply vendors in most capitals and is not worth the walk.
• The Forever absorption formula sits with the Azeroth Commerce Authority market at Three Corners in Redridge Mountains, a faction paid in Merchant’s Favor, and the Horde mirror is Durotar Supply and Logistics.

• You do not need Enchanting to receive a chest enchant, because only the enchanter needs the skill, the formula and the rod.
• The enchanter applies it through the trade window slot marked will not be traded, so your chest never leaves your bags.
• Forever lets enchanters transmute small shards into a large shard of the same type on a 20 hour shared cooldown, which turns spare Small Brilliant Shards into Greater Stats fuel.
• The shard conversion ratio has not been published, so do not hoard smalls on faith alone.
• Bring your own mats, because enchanters who supply Large Brilliant Shards charge for the privilege.

Budget Option vs BiS Option

The WoW Forever BiS enchants question is really a question of how long the chest stays on your body. Match the spend to the item lifespan and you will never cry over dust.

Non-Enchanter Options for the Chest

Short version: none of the new world of warcraft forever professions perks touch the chest. Blacksmithing buckles go on belts, Tailoring embroidery goes on cloaks, the new Leatherworking kits go on bracers, and Engineering got no stat bonus at all.

• Leatherworking still makes the classic armor kits, and Rugged Armor Kit adds +40 armor to a chest, legs, hands or feet item of level 35 or higher at 250 skill.
• Heavy Armor Kit adds +24 armor for lower level chests and is the only kit worth making before Rugged.

What Overwrites, What Stacks and When to Re-Enchant

• A chest holds one permanent enchant, and applying a new one replaces the old one with no refund.
• Armor kits and enchants share that one slot, so they never stack with each other.
• Minor Absorption and Lesser Absorption cannot stack either, because both would sit in the same slot.
• Community testing of Lesser Absorption shows a hidden internal cooldown of about 5 seconds, capping it near 25 damage per 5 seconds.
• Percentage stat buffs multiply the flat attributes from Stats and Greater Stats, so the enchant quietly gets better in a buffed raid.
• Forever ring, neck and off-hand enchants live in their own slots and do not interact with the chest.
• Re-enchant only when the chest itself changes, and never on an item you plan to replace inside a week.
