You need level 60 and at least Honored with the Argent Dawn. Pay the toll, step on the rune portal in Plaguewood at 39, 26, and Naxxramas lets you in to die properly.

The price scales with how much you groveled. Honored costs 60 gold, 5 Arcane Crystal, 2 Nexus Crystal and 1 Righteous Orb. Revered costs 30 gold, 2 Arcane Crystals and 1 Nexus Crystal. Exalted costs nothing but your youth. The key is personal, permanent and has no known skip, so every one of your 40 raiders pays separately.

The jump from Honored to Revered cuts the bill in half and deletes the Righteous Orb. If your server’s auction house is feeling greedy, the reputation grind is the cheaper path.

Here is how to get attuned to Naxxramas in WoW Forever, in the order the game forces on you. There is no drop from the raid itself, no kill objective and no escort. It is a bill with a quest title.

1. Reach level 60 and grind the Argent Dawn to at least Honored.
2. Farm or buy the materials that match your reputation tier.
3. Fly to Light’s Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands.
4. Speak with Archmage Angela Dosantos and accept The Dread Citadel – Naxxramas in the version she offers.
5. Turn in the gold and materials on the spot to complete the quest.
6. Ride to the rune portal in Plaguewood at 39, 26 and step on it to enter Naxxramas.
7. Return to Light’s Hope Chapel and pick up the follow-up Echoes of War for the tier 3 quest line.

• Normal Plaguelands undead stop giving reputation halfway through Friendly.
• Stratholme and Scholomance trash plus elite Plaguelands undead give reputation until the end of Honored.
• Stratholme and Scholomance bosses give reputation all the way to Exalted.
• The Flesh Does Not Lie and The Active Agent from Betina Bigglezink upgrade the trinket into Seal of the Dawn or Rune of the Dawn, which still drop Scourgestones and actually do something.

• Plagued Hatchlings lets you loot Healthy Dragon Scale in Scholomance for 50 reputation each at Betina.

Only 3 Venom Stalkers exist in the whole raid. If your group kills them before you hold Echoes of War, you wait for the next reset like a fool.

Skips, Shortcuts and Class Workarounds

There is no skip for the Naxxramas attunement. The rune portal checks your character, not your raid leader, your guild tag or your feelings. No rogue lockpick, engineering gadget or class spell replaces the quest, and anyone who promises otherwise is selling boosts.

• Hitting Exalted before the turn-in is the only shortcut that saves every copper.
• Revered is the sensible middle ground, since it halves the gold and drops the Righteous Orb.
• Buying the Righteous Orb on the auction house skips the Living Stratholme farm entirely.
• Rogues and engineers help most by speeding up Stratholme runs, not by bypassing the key.
• Flying straight to Light’s Hope Chapel for the turn-in beats riding through Plaguewood undead with a full bag of crystals.

What the Attunement Unlocks

Step on the rune portal and the wow forever naxxramas entrance teleports you inside. From there the necropolis is a wheel of four quarters around a central hub, and you can clear them in any order.

Lore

Naxxramas began as a nerubian ziggurat. The crypt lord Anub’arak led undead armies into it, the Scourge overran it, and dark magic tore it out of the ground and hung it in the sky. Kel’Thuzad made it his seat and filled it with experiments nobody should describe at dinner.

Angela Dosantos was a Kirin Tor watcher guarding the wards around Atiesh, Medivh’s greatstaff. When Archimonde destroyed Dalaran, the staff shattered and she left to hunt the pieces, joining the Argent Dawn to keep them out of Kel’Thuzad’s hands. Her arcane cloaking is an old Kirin Tor cantrip with her own edits, and it is what hides you from the necropolis wards.

Forever runs in its own continuity, which Blizzard calls a time bubble. Talk of wow forever classic plus raids is exactly that: old dungeons, a new timeline and no promise that Kel’Thuzad ends up in Northrend again.
