There are no mob grinds and no shortcuts, only other players who would rather you stayed Neutral.
Spend it at Kelm Hargunth, the Warsong Supply Officer at Mor’shan Base Camp in northern The Barrens, around coordinates 46, 8. Honored buys jewelry, Revered buys weapons, Exalted buys level 60 epic bracers, epic leggings and a tabard that proves you have no weekends.
How to unlock the faction
There is no unlock quest and no attunement. Any Horde character old enough to queue for Warsong Gulch starts at Neutral with Warsong Outriders, and the first flag capture your team scores puts the faction on your reputation panel.
Forever launches on November 4, 2026, and World of Warcraft Forever Warsong Gulch returns at launch next to Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley and the new 15v15 Darkspear Islands. The map is the same 10v10 capture the flag grinder, and the Alliance side is still the Silverwing Sentinels.

The Warsong Outriders quartermaster location has no flight master of its own, so you will run north from Crossroads every time you want to shop. Think of it as warm up cardio before losing a flag at the ramp.

A win hands you 3 Warsong Gulch Mark of Honor, a loss hands you 1, and leaving early hands you nothing. So a standard 3:0 win is worth 155 reputation once the marks are cashed, and 185 on a holiday weekend.

Those numbers assume you win 3:0 every single time. You will not. Losses with two captures still pay 70 plus one mark, which is why a close defeat beats a surrender at the graveyard.
Fastest route to Exalted
The fastest way to Exalted Warsong Outriders is not a secret, it is just unpleasant. Win fast, cap every flag you can, and never waste marks.
- Queue as a premade group, because a six minute 3:0 pays exactly the same as a forty minute stalemate.
- Push captures even in a lost game, since every capture pays 35 no matter who wins.
- Save marathon sessions for Warsong Gulch holiday weekends, when each capture pays 45.
- Hoard marks and run For Great Honor if you also play Arathi Basin and Alterac Valley.
- Buy the Diplomat Legacy perk before the grind, as each rank adds 2 percent reputation account wide.
- Never leave a match early, because deserters get no marks and a debuff for their trouble.
Marks are worth double when stapled together. Three Warsong Gulch Mark of Honor through Battle of Warsong Gulch pay 50 rep. The same three through For Great Honor pay 100, plus 100 each to the other two Horde battleground factions.

What it gates
Nothing in PvE. There is no attunement, no recipe, no mount and no raid access behind this faction, so any guild officer demanding Warsong reputation for raid spots is just a sadist with a spreadsheet.
What it does gate is the Exalted epic gear, the Revered weapons and the Warsong Battle Tabard. On the Forever side, maximizing reputations is one of the six Legacy Challenge categories that award account wide Legacy points, and those points feed perks and cosmetics up to Reins of the Spectral Bear. Blizzard has not confirmed which factions count toward those challenges.
Lore
The Outriders take their name from the Warsong clan of Grom Hellscream. During the Third War the Warsong clear cut Ashenvale for lumber, Grom killed the demigod Cenarius, and later died killing the pit lord Mannoroth to free the orcs from demon blood.
The World of Warcraft Forever Warsong clan lore picks up in the first year after that war. The Outriders still run the logging camp in Warsong Gulch, the Silverwing Sentinels still want every tree back, and Thrall and his shaman still quietly disapprove of the whole enterprise. Nobody has stopped chopping.
